Trans-shipment vessel solutions: tugs, barges, transshipment crane barges

Since its inception in 1981 DSB Offshore Ltd has provided construction companies with vessel spreads for marine projects world-wide.

More recently we have diversified into trans-shipment solutions for mining projects. Our geographic scope covers west and east Africa from Guinea to Mozambique. From feasibility study phase onwards we support clients with  prices for sale or rental of vessel spreads and solutions including barges, tugs, pusher tugs and trans-shipment vessels.

Trans-shipment involves the transport of dry bulk commodities such as bauxite, iron ore, manganese and coal on barges, self-propelled, towed or pushed by tugs, from source (often up a river) to an offshore anchorage where they are transferred by floating cranes onto a sea-going bulk carrier for export to world markets.
